The 10 percent law or the 10/10 law as it is known.

This law states that if you give away money then you will receive 10 times the amount you gave away. How does this work you may be asking?

When we give money away this creates money streams. You make connections by giving money away. These connections allow more money to flow. The more connection we make, the more money flows. You need to connect up the pipes that will allow money to flow.

Does it matter who we give money to? Of course it matters who we give money to. We don't want to be giving money away to a bottomless pit. Give money away to an organisation is one example. They will take care of your money and not squander the money away. This money will then be used to help someone in need. We could also give money to someone who has been helpfull to us.

When you give money, expect to receive more. Be greatful and happy when we give money away. Don't fell that you have less money. You should plan to give 10 percent of your money away. We call this the 10 percent rule, or the 10/10 rule. Give away 10 percent and expect to receive 10 times the amount you gave away.

The person or the organisation we gave money to, may not be the source of the money that is returned. Don't expect the money to come back from where we gave the money to. Also don't expect to win the money back. But expect the unexpected. Money will come back to you from the least unlikley source sometimes. Maybe there is someone who owes you money, that you have forgotten about. But be certain that money will come back to you, it may just take some time for the money to return.

Top 3 Criteria In Goal Setting

Goal setting is one of the most powerful tools that you can ever use to achieve the things that you want in your life. When you set your goals, you are somehow creating objectives for yourself, you are actually put in more energy and focus into making your goals come true.

This is the reason goal setting works and it works wonder if you make good use of it. The problem with most people is that they do not know how to set empowering goals that will keep going. Below are the top 3 criteria in goal setting that you must follow in order to achieve your goals…

1. Your goals must be as specific as possible and you must include a deadline for your goals. Remember, be as specific as possible. If you want to be rich, how much do you want to earn and how much do you want to accumulate? If you want to own a sport car, what color, what model and when are you going to own it? The more specific the better because it allows your mind to picture it vividly and focus to get it.

2. You must write down your goals. This is a common step that most people will not do. If you are serious in achieving your goals, you must do this. If you are not writing down your goals, they will remain as dreams. So write down your goals on a piece of paper right now and paste this paper somewhere you can see often. You have to do so, to constantly remind yourself about your goals.

3. Take at least 3 action steps that will bring you closer to your goal each and everyday. Most people fail to achieve their goal because once they wrote down their goal, they do nothing about it. It is not like after you have written down your goal and everything will come true automatically. Goal setting is not a magic wand; you need to put in action to make your goals come true.

These are the top 3 criteria that your goals must have. Remember, you must write down your goals and be as specific as possible. And don’t forget to take massive of action to make your goals come true.

If you are serious in achieving what you really want in your life, goal setting is the right tool for you. I’m going to share with you the 3 phases of Goal Setting Activities, you are about to discover the real and guaranteed strategies how to achieve your goals.

Laughter Is Truly The Best Medicine

Laughter Is Truly The Best Medicine
by: Laurie J. Brenner

If there's one thing I have to admit about my mother is that she was always right about this: Laughter Is The Best Medicine.

If you can't laugh about yourself and the things that happen to you - you're headed for a heart attack or some other malady, it's the way the body works. Laughter lightens the moment and strips away the seriousness that many of us approach life with; it releases the pain and chases away your personal rainstorms leaving a bright sunshiny day.

Scientists have also discovered that laughter strengthens your immune system and increases your cardiovascular flexibility (your blood vessels exercise through dilation).

According to Dr. Goodheart, the laughter doctor, laughter convulses your diaphragm, which in turn massages your internal organs. Massaged internal organs are happy internal organs and they cooperate by staying plump and juicy.

She says that laughter also causes you to gulp in large portions of air, oxygenating your blood. When that air is expelled, it's been clocked at 70 miles an hour, providing the lungs with an excellent workout. By laughing, she says, you lose muscle control, which relaxes the skeletal system. According to Dr. Goodheart, four-year-olds laugh 500 times a day, while adults laugh a mere 15! She's convinced that if we laugh as much as a four-year old, we've have the heart rate and blood pressure of that same child.

On top of all that, she continues, laughter causes the brain to produce hormones called beta endorphins which reduce pain and causes our adrenal glands to manufacture cortisol, which is a natural anti-inflammatory that's wonderful for arthritis.

Laughter also provides a catharsis, which means to purify or purge, to the emotions. It also brings about a spiritual renewal or release from tension. You notice how sometimes you'll see a comedian on television, and while he may not be that funny, something just makes you laugh uproariously? Your body seems to know that it needs the chemicals that are released through laughter.

I've always felt better after a good belly laugh or two. For me that means some very large-sounding snorts and a few donkey brays thrown into the bargain. Some people won't even go to the movie with me because when I start laughing I cannot stop. My daughters always used to go, Mom! as they slunk down into their seats trying not to be seen.

When someone's laughing, others laugh along. It's contagious. You can't help it. Oftentimes in my movie-theater laughter excursions, I have motivated a whole theater-full of people laughing right along with me. All this during the credits! (John Belushi being escorted through the prison in the opening credit scenes of The Blues Brothers. If you notice very carefully, while walking he has his butt cheeks pressed ever so tightly together as he's leaving the prison. It was a subtle physical comment that kept me laughing. The more people turned and looked at me, the harder I laughed! Finally, they just gave up and joined me!).

The Difference between Laughter, Humor, Teasing and Tickling

However, there is a difference between laughter, humor, teasing or tickling. Humor is your way of looking at the world, it's an intellectual exercise. It's your idea of what's funny; it's not the actual act of laughing.

Teasing and tickling are really a way of ridiculing someone. Tickling is something beyond someone's control and is actually a physical invasion of sorts. Children laugh when you tickle them because the body works that way, but it's actually a form of emotional ridicule that can result in very unpleasant feelings.

Teasing usually has an edge to it. People say they're teasing, but essentially they are dead serious. I think teasing is a passive-aggressive way of hurting someone through the guise of humor. Teasing, according to Dr. Goodheart, "involves our having information about something that another person has very strong feelings about - usually painful feelings - and then bringing that information up without permission." She also says that as people become very good friends they might give each other permission unconsciously to push each other's buttons. Husbands, wives, lovers, and friends play with each other's pain with permission. "When you tease without permission in order to trigger laughter, it's very manipulative and controlling."

All in all, when you're feeling down and need a lift, try laughter. It may be hard at first, but just try laughing. Force yourself. Pretty soon, you'll find yourself laughing at your own laughter and the looks you get from your family members. They'll begin to wonder what's so funny and the corners of their mouths will crinkle up in the beginning of a smile. Now you're laughing because they give you these quizzical looks wondering what you're laughing about.

Pretty soon, your laugh is real, your belly aches, the tears flow from your eyes, and the world takes on a different hue.

As for me when I laugh like this, I need Depends. I laugh so hard sometimes I wet my pants and that has nothing to do with my age.

I can still hear my friend's mom yelling at me today nearly 38 years later (while grinning ear to ear) to get off her brocade couch whenever I started laughing.

She knew what would happen.

The missing secret

What do Opera Winfrey, Donald Trump and an Olympic Gold Medallist have in common? Persistence. The most vital part of the movie The Secret - persistence, was left out of the movie. Why was this left out of the movie? One can only guess.

This is the missing secret - Persistence. When we leave this out, attraction is very weak and in most cases, fails to work. When things don't seem to be working we give up and try something different. We may only try something a few times at best to see if it will work. We blame the product or the company if something doesn't seem to work.

Changing our beliefs and creating new neural pathways takes between 20 to 60 days. Usually about 30 days is about the usual time frame. How may people are willing to commit their time for 30 days? If you really want to change your belief and are serious then you need to be persistent.

Have you been watching the Olympics? The difference between winning and second place sometimes is only one tenth of a second. Does anyone remember who was second or third?

What is the second thing Opera Winfrey, Donald Trump and an Olympic Gold Medallist have in common? They have the Razors Edge. The razors edge is the difference between winning and coming second.

You may be thinking these people are better than you, or smarter. This is just not the case. Everyone has unlimited poetical. We may need to train that ten percent harder or study that bit extra.

Creating affirations and the Law of Attraction

These are more than just positive thoughts. They form the basics with which to change your beliefs. So how do we create positive affiratioms? Ask yourself what you want, (what do you want to do). It is not just as simple as creating positive affirations, you need to ad feeling. Feelings ad the fuel

Lets take a look at how we ad feeling to our affirations. The affiration - I am a postitve person, has no feeling. But if we now change it to - I am a happy and positive person who is positive in all situations, do you see the difference?

We need more than just fuel. We also require a spark to light the fuel. The affiration is only in our conscious. Therefore, we need to move from conscious to subconscious. How do we acheive this? One of the best ways is with Mediation.

Meditate like a Zen Monk.

Now that was a headline I just had to checkout. During the summer break I wanted to reduce stress. My current employment was changing and I needed a way to reduce my stress levels. I had come across this product called Holosync, which I later learned was featured on the movie "The Secret". Now, I have tried several mediation products and techniques in the past with some or little success.

I had been under a lot of stress, due to changes with my work. After checking out the Holoysync website, I was sceptical about their claims of meditate deeper than a zen monk and increased brain power, including increased memory and concentration etc...

There were some questions I wanted to ask about Holoysync, like - how soon will I see results, etc ... . The support from Bill Harris and his team is just amazing. They answered all my long questions even before I placed my order.

I decided to place my order for Holosync (it has a 12 month money back guarantee). The order arrived in just over a week, due to being in the South Pacific. Upon arrival I wasted no time in trying out the first audio cd. Now this takes an hour to listen to. After reading the manual and finding some stereo headphones I then started to play the cd. I was greeted by the southing sounds tropical sounds of water and musical notes.

The results were quite astounding. I was relaxed after the first few minutes and then went in to a deep meditation.

Just after 3 days I noticed that my stress levels were reduced. Most of the problems I had been facing at work just seemed not matter anymore.

Include your very own affiations, in your own voice on the Holosync CD. This is a great way to personlize your own situation.

What is gratitude?

This is a question you may be asking. How can I be grateful, when every where you look, there in not much to be grateful for. What with the rising food and fuel costs. We all can find something to be grateful for.

Look at you current sitution, you will discover gratitude every where. You can be grateful for being able to read this ezine, or just being alive.

Gratitude comes form love. When we express love, we are also being grateful for the current situation that caused us to express love.

Stop complaining. Most of us complain about something. Just accept the current situation, even though you may not agree with it.

How do we express our gratitude? We can express our gratitude by saying thank you. Say thank you to yourself silently 3 or 4 times when you wish to express gratitude.

Lester Levenson's Amazing Story

This is the story of Lester Levenson, whom was the mentor of Hale Dwoskin the creater of the Sedona Method

I was born July 19, 1909 in Elizabeth, New Jersey into a middle class family as a very shy person. I tried to do things the way they were supposed to be done -- doing the right thing, getting a good education, and being the best in my field. My natural inclination was towards science. Especially the science of the world, and of man himself. I graduated from Rutgers University in 1931 as a physicist, after which I worked 20 some years in physics and engineering.

I also went into various businesses, including restaurants, lumber, building and oil, intertwined with engineering, wanting to make money-- wanting to make it in the world. At that time, I did not know what I now know -- that what I was seeking was actually the answers to life itself. And nothing that I had worked at would give me that answer. As the years went by, I became heavy with depression and with sickness. By 1952, I had been through constant illness -- I even had jaundice three or so times a year. I had an enlarged liver, kidney stones, spleen trouble, hyper and hypos acidity, ulcers that perforated and formed lesions, and to top it off, I had at least 10 years of migraine headaches.

This all culminated in 1952 when I had my second coronary thrombosis.

After the second coronary, I was told I would not live much longer -- that I might die any day and shouldn't make the effort to take so much as a step unless I necessarily had to. I was extremely fearful of dying, but I said to myself, You're still breathing, Lester -- there is still a chance. So I sat down and began thinking on an around the clock basis. I had been considered a very smart boy. I always made the honor roll. I had been the recipient of a four-year scholarship to Rutgers back in the days when not many scholarships were handed out. But then being told after my second heart attack that I wouldn't live, I said to myself,

Lester, you are stupid, stupid,stupid.

Having lived 42 or so years, and having reached the end of the line without happiness, without health -- therefore all this knowledge you have accumulated is of no avail. I had studied Watson's behavior in the 30's and Freud's in the late 30's and early 40's. I had studied the philosophies. I had studied logic. I studied economics. I studied all the major fields of man, and with all that knowledge there; I was at the end of the line. This made me realize that...

The Accumulated Knowledge of Man Was of No Use.

So I decided to start from scratch. Forget all that knowledge. Begin from point 0 and see what you can pick up. So,I posed some pretty basic questions and asking myself what I really wanted out of life.

I began to get some answers. Investigating further, I made some startling discoveries. And I started getting better.I began correcting all my thoughts and feelings in that direction. And in that process, I discovered I was getting happier, freer, lighter, and feeling better in general. I continued until all the ailments I had in my physical body corrected. All my miseries dropped away. And I ended up in a place in which I was happy all the time, without sorrow.

Not that the world stopped pushing against me -- it continued -- but I was at a place where I could resolve things almost immediately. Having cleared out the negative fears, all the negative 'I can not's,' I would focus right on the answer to every problem, and get it very quickly.

And so,

My whole life turned around from being depressed and sick, to being happy and in perfect health all the time!

One of the things that happened in this process was my identification with others. I saw that we are all related we are all inter-connected -- each mind is like a radio broadcasting and receiving
station. That we are all tuned into each other unconsciously -- that we are just not aware of it. That life was meant to be beautiful... meant to be happy all the time with no sorrow. And to be with perfect health. And so after reaching that high point of understanding in 1952, I have wanted to help others to discover what I had discovered.

I Believe If I Can Do It, Anyone Can Do It.

Over the remaining 42 years of Lester's life, he attracted thousands of students to his work - not because he spent time and money marketing his discovery, but because he was a living example of the possibility you and I possess when we learn to set our ego aside.

The reason so many of us fail to reach our goals is not due to a lack of effort. It is because we produce in our outer world what we hold in our inner world. If I desire more money, I reaffirm in my mind that I don't not have enough, and it is lack that I create.

Positive thinking alone does not change this. You must learn to release the associated feelings. And when you do, you also learn to let go of the thousands of thoughts you have associated with the feeling. This frees you to see more opportunity, to experience greater happiness regardless of outcomes and literally attract into your life what you want.

It is our desires, our wants, that prevent not only happiness, but our producing the results we seek in our life.

The results include:
* Less stress
* More financial abundance
* Deeper, more loving relationships
* Better health, wellness and vitality
* Career success
* Peace, happiness and more

Happiness and success in life have nothing to do with hard work, education or what you have to begin with. Happiness and success are equally available to everyone when you learn how to release the blocks, the thoughts and feelings, of limitation you hold. It is literally as effortless as holding a pen and letting it fall to the floor!

The Power of Positive Feelings

You feel powerful and strong. You feel an energy inside you that says "I am here to do something great!" You feel yourself walk into any situation, confident and at peace. You feel successful.

Ah, how good it feels!

Have you ever noticed that we ask each other, "How are you feeling today?" I have never met anyone who asked me, "How are you thinking today John?"

Why is this?

Perhaps it is because how we feel is how we live. If I feel miserable, my life reflects that misery. If I feel confident, then I act confident and I attract into my life that which I desire because I feel I deserve it.

In every moment, you and I feel something. And these feelings we have shape our destiny. Notice I write "these feelings we have". Feelings do not have us; we have feelings.

Most personal development focuses on thinking. Change your thinking and your life. I agree, but thinking arises from feeling. If I am holding tension in my body, if I feel tense, then my thinking is shaped by tension. And I eact accordingly.

That tension is the result of accumulated thoughts and feelings. And the more that accumulate, the greater the tension (also known as stress) until I make myself ill; both physically and mentally.

Positive thinking is a great idea, but it has limitations, does it not? Can tell me what your next thought will be? Not without thinking about it! And the time you have come up with an answer your mind has already moved on to else.

Plus all thoughts are found in the past. One cannot think in this moment. One can only experience this moment and it is this moment and the succession of this moment that make your life. Right now, plus right now, plus right now, equal your life and the results you create.

To make a change in how you experience and what you do with "right now" you must act on the feeling level to make true changes. And by changing how you feel right now, you change your destiny.

We all know of this power. It is a power we are born with that becomes discarded when we are told to stop feeling and start thinking. All limitations exist only in our thinking, yet that is exactly what everyone is telling us to do! Get an education and learn your limits!

If you have ever watched a young child develop, you will notice how they do not accept "no" for an answer. Failure does not stop us until we learn that failure means something bad. We then spend the rest of our life trying to reprogram our mind with clichés about how failure is the foundation of success, but do we really believe it? As children we fall, we hurt, we let the feeling go and we take off running again. As adults we fall, we hurt, and we tell stories about it for the rest of our life to anyone who will listen!

If you want to achieve a breakthrough in any area of your life, stop trying to reprogram your mind and notice how you feel. When you set a goal, notice the feelings that arise for you. Fear? Anxiety? Doubt? They are nothing more than feelings; electro-chemical impulses.

The good news? You can learn to let these feelings go and when you do, your potential has new life and it expands beyond the limits of thought. You feel a new energy when you realize all that prevents you from having all that you desire are these feelings which you have chosen to hold on to because you think, yes you think, they serve you in some way.

No analyzing is necessary, nor programming or re-programming, nor words; just feelings. Powerful feelings.

To re-learn how to access your natural ability to let go of any unwanted feeling discover the Sedona Method Course.

Do the Gratitude Dance

Tips on creating a gratitude journal

Creating a gratitude journal

A gratitude journal is simply a diary except you record what you are grateful for that day. You could use a diary or similar book for writing your gratitude journal. Just make sure you have enough pages to cover a years worth of gratitude.

Start your journal with the following line - Today I am grateful for....

Everyday write down 5 things you are grateful for. Now, these things that you have been grateful for during the day, could be as simple as being able to eat your breakfast in the morning, being able to read the newspaper. You can also be grateful for the house you live in, having a supportive partner and family that are always there for you.

Even when you are not having a good day, things are not going smoothly, you must still write down your 5 things you have been grateful for during the day. This is where gratitude is most important. Doing this will help you to look for things to be grateful for and appreciate. This will help you create an attitude of gratitude. Write only the positive things that have happened to you during the day in your gratitude journal.

In every situation, look for the good things. They are there; you just have to see them. Look for the positive things even when they don't seem to be there. You just have too look for them. Stop complaining and start to think positive.

When you are having a really good day, everything just seems to be helping you create an attitude of gratitude, you will have more than 5 things to write in your journal. Yes, you can write down more than 5 things.

Every day you can be grateful for something. When you tell someone in your life you are grateful for them is a powerful way to express gratitude. Expressing gratitude towards someone who has provided a cheerful smile, gave good service or maybe provided you with directions.

Ways we can express gratitude could be as simple as sending a card or letter thanking someone. Include what it was that made you grateful, how you felt when they made you grateful.

Here is a sample from my own gratitude journal -

Today I am grateful for wakeing up in the morning and able to open my eyes, seeing the sun shine through the window. I am grateful for being able to have breakfast with my family. I am grateful for the car not breaking down when I had an appointment in town. I am also grateful for finding a park

This is just a sample of my many daily gratitude entries I have in my journal. It is also important to read through your previous entries and reflect on why you have been grateful.

Just remember to write in your journal 5 things that you are grateful for everyday, even when you don't fell like writing.
